The NIDPC course is of ten days duration which include one day workshop on Histopathology, Mock TOACS Examination day and exclusive sessions of Long cases, short cases and slide sessions. This also include workshop on Leprosy by WHO Coordinator.

The Basic Concept Course is of 6 days duration with intervals in between, in which students are given relevant and precise material to to make them life long effective learner.

In 26^thNational Intensive Dermatology Preparatory Courses, you will have following opportunities:

To interact and learn from majority of Examiners, Senior Professors and Experienced Supervisor.
There will be Live demonstration of both Short and Long cases on actual cases as in the exams.
One day exclusive Dermatopathology Workshop.
One day Mock, TOACS Examination in which every candidate will be exposed to 25 interactive Stations . There will be debriefing session after the TOACS, in which they will be guided by station Examiners/ Facilitators about their strengths and weaknesses individually.
There will be Workshop on Leprosy conducted by WHO Coordinator on different patients.
Students will also be guided about effective learning and time management for both study and during Exam.

NIDPC – National Intensive Dermatology Preparatory Courses are being offered under the umbrella of CMH Medical College and Institute of Dentistry, Lahore, Pakistan.

Success Story of the Course

National Intensive Interactive Preparatory Dermatology Courses for MCPS & FCPS candidates were initiated at PNS SHIFA Karachi in April 2005. Their main objective was to apprise the candidates of their shortcomings and guide them accordingly for preparation of examination. The idea was cherished by the dermatology community as being a unique, much demanded and required activity for post graduate trainees of Dermatology at National level.

The first course was conducted at PNS SHIFA in collaboration with CPSP from 25^th to 30^th April 2005. Twelve candidates (preparing for FCPS and DCPS examination in Dermatology) from Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Karachi attended. Since then it is regularly conducted twice a years and so far 25 courses have successfully been held. The Chart below shows the growing interest of Dermatology Candidates about the course
